Subh Sukh Chain (INA Anthem)
Drawing inspiration from Rabindranath Tagore's "Bharoto Bhagyo Bidhata", Subhash Chandra Bose with help of Mumtaz Hussian and Colonel Abid Hasan Safrani wrote "Subh Sukh Chain" in 1941. The song was composed by Captain Ram Singh Thakuri. After the latest controversy, "Subh Sukh Chain" has again gained limelight.
"Subh Sukh Chain" means "Auspicious Happiness". And it was the national anthem of the Provisional Government of Free India.
Lyrics
Subh Sukh Chain ki barkha barse,
Bharat bhagya hai jaga.
Punjab, Sindh, Gujarat, Maratha,
Dravid, Utkal, Banga.
Tere nit gun gayen, Tujhse Jivan paye,
har tan paye aasha.
Suraj ban kar jag par chamke,
Bharat naam subhaga,
Jai ho! Jai ho! Jai ho!
Jai Jai Jai Jai ho!
Sab ke dil mai prit basae, teri meethi baani.
Har sube ke rehne waale, har mazhab ke praani,
Sab bhed aur farak mita ke, Sab god mein teri ake,
Gunthe prem ki maala.
Suraj ban kar jag par chamke,
Bharat naam subhaga.
Jai ho! Jai ho! Jai ho!
Jai Jai Jai Jai ho!
Shubh savere pankh pakhere, teri hi gun gaye,
bas bhari bharpur hawaen, jeevan men rut laye,
sab mil kar Hind pukare, Jai Azad Hind ke naare.
Pyara desh hamara.
Suraj ban kar jag par chamke, Bharat naam subhaga,
Jai ho! Jai ho! Jai ho!
Jai Jai Jai Jai ho!
